Hello art lovers,

I am May H. Dalton and I create as a professional fine art model in Australia. I enjoy creating art in many forms and use different mediums to assist my conveyance of many emotions and shapes. I am an artist through and through, it is a compulsion to create and connect with one another in this manner, it always has been since I was a child. For me, to create, is to live.

Through modelling I allow my body to become the medium. I enjoy to playing with shape, light, movement and ever changing expression. Through working as an art model, it has taught me how to convey emotion with nothing but your bare self. For example; a clawed hand vs a delicate one, can shift the tone and emotion of a photograph entirely.

In my poetry I explore the very depths of myself, speaking on matters of the heart, love, loss, self-discovery and sexuality. I have kept each poem raw and deliver each piece of prose with the upmost honesty. I have 4 published books thus far, and I dare say that I will keep on writing my whole life through.

My love of abstract painting dances with the unconscious in a way that I find painting only can. I like to bring forth new shapes and feelings from other realms. Most often, I put brush to canvas long before I am consciously aware of ‘what’ it is I am painting and expressing. Only in looking at a piece during and after its creation, will I understand what has been channeled and released through me. I am but the vessel towards expression and the final product before you. My painted artworks generally radiate joy - though some emotions can be complex, - I never cease to use bright colours and paint with gusto so that each piece has a unique sense of fluidity to it.

Here on my webpage, all of my heartfelt art forms will live alongside one another for the first time. I am gradually creating a place where each piece can be displayed and all chosen mediums accessed in the one spot. As a multi-artist, this has been quite the mammoth task to undertake.

Thank you for being here with me on this journey. It is my hope that through my artworks, connection can be found and solidarity through shared human experience can be expressed and received personally by each viewer.
